WHAT TYPES OF HOME FITNESS EQUIPMENT DO YOU RECOMMEND?

We do not require you to buy any equipment when signing with us. If you are looking to have a low-cost and simple setup at home, we recommend investing in some equipment that can tackle the basics. We can provide more personalized guidance to you after discussing your goals, available space, budget, and doing a preliminary assessment of your current fitness abilities. However, the following is a safe place to start.

1. Resistance bands and light weights - Great for resistance training to build muscle. Even weights in the 2-20lb (1-9kg) range can be very helpful when used properly.

2. Jump rope - Takes up virtually no space, and can provide a great cardio workout while toning arms, legs, and core muscles. Low ceilings or no space outdoors? Check out ropeless jump ropes (yup, that's a thing!)

3. Yoga mat and foam roller - Never undervalue the benefits of stretching and self-myofascial release (a fancy way of saying "self massaging") which can be accomplished by rolling different muscles over a firm surface.

4. You - Body weight exercises alone can be enough to get you in great shape if implemented properly, especially when used in conjunction with properly fueling yourself. If your goals don't include building tons of muscle, nutrition and lower-weight resistance training can be very effective. 

HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM A REGULAR GYM TRAINER?

Working with an in-person trainer is great, but not conducive to everyone's lifestyles and needs. Leveraging the best platforms available, we are able to be super hands-on with our clients from halfway around the world. The benefit of working with a dedicated team of online coaches is the custom care we are able to give to each and every one of our clients between sessions. Not to mention you'll never be working around someone else's schedule to get your exercise in. Our plans are built around YOU and your schedule to ensure that they are sustainable.

I'M HESITANT TO COMMIT TO A LONG-TERM PLAN. DO YOU HAVE A MONTH-BY-MONTH OPTION?

Often times it takes a little bit of time to get locked in on a new routine. We structure our plan offerings with 3 Months being the shortest term to accommodate some trial and error in the beginning. As we get to know you, we will have a better idea of how to coach you. While we generally see physical results within the first month, the real results that make this investment feel worth it for our clients come through the long-term habits they are able to form through practice and repetition with us. Invest in yourself and trust the process, we won't let you down!
